Celebrities That Ride Harleys

Jay Leno

Jay Leno is another certified Harley Davidson fan but unlike other celebrities who just love to ride their motorcycles, Leno, whose first job is that of a mechanic, is noted for being a hands-on Harley owner as he takes care of his motorcycle’s repair and maintenance. He owns several Harley motorcycles and loves to get on top and under his Harleys too. Jay bought his WR nearly 30 years ago, from a man who bought it new from the factory in 1946.

Elvis Presley

Pepper Red 1956 Harley-Davidson KH. Presley, just 21 at the time, was still a relatively unknown regional artist when he purchased this motorcycle on January 14, 1956, from Tommy Taylor at Memphis Harley-Davidson. He paid $903 after trading his Model 165, and financed the amount with a monthly payment of $47. Presley selected the two-tone “Deluxe” KH, with the optional windshield and “buddy” seat so he could give pretty girls rides. It’s the bike Presley posed with on the cover of the May ’56 issue of Harley-Davidson’s The Enthusiast magazine, for a feature story titled “Who Is Elvis Presley?” It’s also the motorcycle depicted on the cover of Presley’s Return of the Rocker compilation album.

Adam Levine

For a pop singer with a famously bright falsetto, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 seems to favor a weighty, low-slung and decidedly dark motorcycle; in this case, the $15,349 Harley-Davidson Dark Customs Fat Bob. The “Moves Like Jagger” and “She Will Be Loved” singer is seen here piloting a blacked-out Harley-Davidson bobber that boasts an air-cooled fuel-injected twin-cam 103-cubic-inch engine producing 100 lb-ft of torque.

George Clooney

Yet another Harley on the list, this time the Road King Classic piloted by the current king of cool, George Clooney. The star of “The Descendants,” “The Ides of March” and the “Ocean’s” franchise has been seen riding this shiny cruiser around Hollywood for years.
